Data Subject Access Request

Effective Date: April 7, 2026 · Last Updated: September 10, 2026

TL;DR – Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal data we collect and use.

You may submit a Data Subject Access Request using the form below.

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

1. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request that we:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information
  • Provide access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Provide information about how your personal information is collected, used, disclosed, or shared
  • Limit the use or disclosure of certain personal information where applicable
  • Opt out of certain types of data sharing or targeted advertising
  • Receive a copy of certain personal information in a portable format, where applicable

These rights may vary depending on your jurisdiction, including California, other U.S. states, and Canada.

New York residents: New York has no comprehensive consumer privacy statute as of 2026, so we extend the rights above to you voluntarily. Statutory rights you do have in New York are the SHIELD Act's security and breach-notification protections (N.Y. Gen. Bus. Law §§ 899-aa, 899-bb) and, for anyone under 18, the deletion and no-marketing protections of the Child Data Protection Act (§§ 899-ee to 899-mm).

2. How to Submit a Request

You may submit your request by:

• Email: policies@nymetalroofing.com
• Company: Interlock Roofing of America / I.E.L. Manufacturing Ltd.

We will respond to verified requests within 45 days, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

3. Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

Verification may include confirming information previously provided to us or requesting additional information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity.

If we cannot verify your identity, we may deny or limit the request as permitted by applicable law.

4. Authorized Agents

If permitted by applicable law, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may also require you to verify your identity directly with us.

5. Response Timeline

We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Where applicable, we generally aim to respond within 45 days, unless an extension is permitted or required.

If we decline your request, you may appeal that decision by contacting us at policies@interlockgroup.com. Where required by applicable state law, we will respond to your appeal within the time period required by law and, if the appeal is denied, provide information on how to contact the relevant Attorney General or privacy regulator.

New York: no state statute sets a response deadline for New York residents' requests. We apply the same 45-day target and appeal process to New York requests voluntarily. If you believe we mishandled your personal data you may complain to the New York Attorney General at https://ag.ny.gov/file-complaint or 1-800-771-7755.

6. Limitations and Exceptions

Your rights are subject to certain legal limitations and exceptions. For example, we may retain or decline to delete information where necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Complete transactions or provide requested services
  • Detect security incidents or protect against fraud
  • Exercise or defend legal claims
  • Maintain internal records as permitted by law

7. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights under applicable law.

8. California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share
  • Request deletion or correction of personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, where applicable
